2010-11 School Board Budget Meetings
The Board of Education has begun its review of the 2010-11 proposed school district budget at its public meeting on February 23. Superintendent David Fleishman, Assistant Superintendent for Business John Chow, building administrators and central office administrators have worked together over the fall and winter months to develop a budget proposal. The Board will review, analyze, and discuss the proposal with the administration at a series of public meetings on March 2, 16, 23, and April 13. On April 20, the Board expects to adopt a budget which will be put before the voters on May 18. A budget hearing is scheduled for May 4. The community is invited to participate in the review of the proposed budget by attending these meetings or watching replays on NCCTV. You may share your thoughts and questions about the budget during the question and comment portion of the public meetings or by emailing to Board@ccsd.ws . Detailed budget information will be mailed to all school district households before the May 18 vote. Click here for a Q & A information.
