The Greeley PTA cordially invites you to our next PTA meeting, which will be held on Wednesday March 17th at 9:30 AM in Room K-110. We will be discussing homework over vacation. Our principal, Andrew Selesnick, will be there, and faculty members and students may attend as well, their schedules permitting. Please also watch your inbox for a link to a survey on this topic which is being sent by the school through the infinite campus portal. Although we will not have the complete survey results available at the meeting, we do hope to be able to present some preliminary results at that time, and we hope you will be able to join us to discuss this important and interesting topic.
2010-11 School Board Budget Meetings
The Board of Education has begun its review of the 2010-11 proposed school district budget. The Board will review, analyze, and discuss the proposal with the administration at a series of public meetings beginning on Feb. 23rd and continuing on March 2, 16, 23, and April 13.
On April 20, the Board expects to adopt a budget which will be put before the voters on May 18.
A budget hearing is scheduled for May 4.
The community is invited to participate in the review of the proposed budget by attending these meetings or watching replays on NCCTV. You may share your thoughts and questions about the budget during the question and comment portion of the public meetings or by emailing to Board@ccsd.ws. Detailed budget information will be mailed to all school district households before the May 18 vote.
