A big tree-hugging thanks to: * The Expo exhibitors, which included interactive students booths from Grafflin, Roaring Brook and Westorchard elementary schools, local community groups and companies “greening” Westchester. * The high school and middle school environmental clubs for their engaging workshop presentations on topics from global warming to wind power: Greeley STOP, Greeley Silent Earth, Bell Environmental Club, Seven Bridges Environmental Club and Kids Against Pollution and their incredibly dedicated club faculty advisors: Frank Ceruzzi, Naomi Cook, Jessica Hermesch, Sheri Huffman, Annie Madden, Raymond LoGuidici, Mike DeBellis (respectively). * Chappaqua Girl Scout Troops #1031 and 1070 --their leaders Lisa Enright and Anna Miller—for the Earth Day mobiles (to be unveiled at the Chappaqua Library on April 22, 2010). * Faculty Mallory Chin (Bell), Diane Wendel (RBS) and Gina and Stan Serafin (Bell/SB) for their help and participation. * The Green Fair planning committee and all of the day’s dedicated volunteers.

Do you know your residential Recycling regulations? Look for the green Town of New Castle Solid Waste Management guidebooks in your school's lobby. Or if you have particular questions, contact our town's very knowledgeable Recycling Foreman, Bart Carey, through our New Castle Town Hall.
School lobbies are stocked with Town of New Castle Guides to Solid Waste Management. Pick one up and refresh yourself on the fantastic job our town does with the 3R's!
