Lion’s ROAR for May
May’s TLC word of the month is “PATIENCE”. This month’s assembly featured how RBS has gone GREENthis year. AVEDA visited Roaring Brook at our assembly this month congratulating the school on their efforts of collecting bottle caps all year long. Other recycling efforts this year included Styrofoam, sneakers, batteries, ink cartridges, reducing plastic water bottles with the sale of klean kanteen and recycling trash at lunch. One step at a time, will make a difference. Teaching students how to take care of our earth will truly be a lifetime lesson learned.
