Crutches 4 Kids Drive . . .

What to do with all the old crutches and canes in your attic??  We have the solution!!

Crutches 4 Kids is a new, non-profit organization based out of Manhattan that encourages kids to help other kids in need by recycling crutches.  The organization is run by a national network of students who will collect used crutches and have them distributed to third world countries, such as Kenya and India, where there is a significant need and few resources.  The SB PTA will begin collecting crutches and canes in the large blue recycling can located in the school lobby beginning Friday March 5th through Thursday, March 11th.
