SB was in the NY Times on 5/2/08 (paper is the 5/4/08 weekend edition) in an article about encouraging families to help stop global warming by taking the bus and car-pooling, and not driving to school in the morning -- especially when driving only one child.  Click here to read the article featuring various students and teachers.

TEEN ALLIANCE SEEKS ADULT VOLUNTEERS
 
The New Castle Recreation Department is launching a youth initiative designed to empower teens to set their own course in developing recreational programming to serve the needs of the adolescent population. caring, committed adult volunteers are needed to work with the Recreation Department Supervisor on this exciting new program. Need help with odd jobs? Computer assistance? A babysitter? A homework helper?

Community members are encouraged to submit their job listings to the Horace Greeley PTA Jobs Bureau. The Jobs Bureau listings are posted at the Horace Greeley High School and can also be found in the reference section of the Chappaqua Library.

To list a job, or if you have any questions, please email the Jobs Bureau at  ptajobsbureau@chappaquapta.net or leave a message at 861-9400 ext. 202. Please provide a job description, specific job requirements and a contact phone number or email address. Interested students will contact you directly.
